  • If you can’t do it at will…it’s not a skill!
  • Risk comes from not knowing what you’re doing.
  • Complete the most challenging task of the day first…then the rest of the day will flow easily.
  • Focus on what works…then see it through.
  • Study the most successful in your position. Find ways to improve upon what it is they’re doing…and you’ll quickly rise above the rest. Rinse and repeat each step up.
  • Remember names. Folks love to hear their name.
  • The fox that chases two rabbits comes home hungry.
  • Let go of your fears…significantly most of what we would fear never occurs. Fear leads to anxiety and then takes control of your mind and emotions. Let it go and you’ll be able to deal rationally, not emotionally, should something actually occur.
  • Emotions make poor decisions. And allow another to take control of you.
  • Soar like an eagle? Or flock like a pigeon?
  • Never criticize. The other will rarely respond positively, but likely become defensive and angry towards you.
  • Never cross a bridge you can’t return over. Walk the high road.
  • Never gossip. Your words will likely be known later. Gossip is for those wishing to bring someone down so as to feel better about themselves.
  • Never complain. Rather structure a point of view that is factual and would be positively received.
  • Posture yourself and have a state of focus. It commands respect.
  • Focus your conversations on the person you are talking too. Show a sincere interest.

  • “Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.” Yoda.  Either you do or you don’t. There is no try, trying is simply an excuse to fail.
  • Compliment a stranger each day. 
  • Your mind will go where your focus flows. When you have multiple thoughts in your mind you are not able to focus. You have distraction and significantly reduce your ability to achieve.
  • Be focused and you’ll achieve. You’ll advance and excel.
  • Study the highest achiever in your profession. Identify how to do what they are doing then do it greater. You’ll be recognized and either be paid greater or be hired away. Then simply rinse and repeat to the top or the level you wish.
